Medical Office Assistant

Program Description

The Medical Office Assistant Certificate Program provides intensive training and a strong emphasis on learning practical skills. Students will take courses in data and word processing, keyboarding, secretarial practices, medical billing and coding, medical office administrative procedures and medical terminology. Upon completion of the certificate, students may work in medical offices, insurance companies and multi-specialty centers as medical office assistants.

Credits obtained by students while in the Medical Office Assistant Certificate Program are transferable to two-year and four-year programs at Bramson ORT College and other colleges and universities worldwide.
